In the morning of January 13th, 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City, the General Department of Logistics (Ministry of Defense) held a pre-acceptance test and handed over telemedicine system to 175 Military Medical Hospital and 78 Treatment Team (Ministry of Defense Command Navy Region 5)
Telemedicine is one of the projects that equips and installs the medical system connecting military hospitals to the islands in the South of Vietnam. The project is implemented by the General Department of Logistics, carried out by NewTel.
The system helps diagnostic images, endoscopy, ultrasound, etc. to be transmitted quickly and promptly so that end-line physicians give accurate results, ensuring patient safety.
During the acceptance ceremony, representatives of related parties thoroughly checked image, sound and data transmission; evaluate that the system meets the requirements and agreed to hand over to the user units.
Representatives of the General Department of Logistics and 175 Military Medical Hospital, Command Navy Region 5 confirmed that when the Telemedicine system was set up, it would be effective in guiding military medical services, emergency coordination, treat patients from 175 Military Medical Hospital to 78 Treatment Team under Command Navy Region 5 in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province.
